Privacy Policy
Welcome to Bounce Path. This Privacy Policy explains how Bovasoft (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with the Bounce Path mobile application (the “App”) on iOS and Android.
Bounce Path is a single-player, offline puzzle game. It has no accounts, no login, and no online profiles. Your game progress is stored only on your device. We designed the App to collect as little information as possible, and we never sell your personal data.
The App does not request access to your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, precise location, or health data.
1Information We Collect
Information you give us
- Support messages. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use it only to reply and provide support.
Information stored on your device
- Game progress and settings. Completed levels, stars, lives, sound and language preferences, and locally cached purchase state are saved on your device. This gameplay data stays on your device and is not sent to us.
Information collected automatically by third parties
- Advertising & device data. To keep the App free, we show ads through Google AdMob — including full-screen ads between levels and optional rewarded ads you can choose to watch (for example, to earn an extra life or a hint). AdMob and its partners may collect device information and identifiers (such as your advertising ID, IP address, and general usage signals) to serve and measure ads. In regions such as the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland, we use Google’s certified consent management platform (UMP) to ask for your consent before serving personalized ads, and you can change your choice at any time (see “Your Choices & Rights”). On iOS, we also use Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt where required. Some of this happens even when you are otherwise offline, the next time your device connects.
- Purchase data. When you buy something (for example, removing ads, subscribing to Pro features where offered, or refilling lives), the transaction is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and by our purchase provider, RevenueCat. RevenueCat assigns a randomly generated, anonymous identifier that is not linked to any account or to your real identity. We receive purchase status, entitlement status, and receipt identifiers — never your full card number, bank details, or payment credentials.
- Usage & analytics data. We use PostHog, a product-analytics platform, to understand how the game is played and to make it better — for example levels started and completed, stars earned, worlds reached, hints used, screens viewed, store visits, purchases, and advertisement views. These events are tied to a pseudonymous, randomly generated identifier, not to your name or an account. Because the game is offline-first, analytics events may be stored on your device and sent the next time you have a connection.
PostHog acts as a data processor on our behalf and processes pseudonymous usage events and identifiers. We do not use it to track you across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising, and we do not sell this data.
2How We Use Information
- To provide and maintain the game and save your progress on your device.
- To display advertising and keep the App free to download and play.
- To process and restore in-app purchases.
- To understand how the game is played and improve levels, difficulty, and features (product analytics).
- To respond to your support requests and feedback.
- To detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or abuse.
3Third-Party Services
We rely on a small number of trusted providers. Each handles data under its own privacy policy:
- Google AdMob (advertising) — Google’s Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
- RevenueCat (in-app purchase management) — revenuecat.com/privacy.
- PostHog (product analytics, hosted in the European Union) — posthog.com/privacy.
- Apple App Store / Google Play (app distribution and payments) — governed by Apple’s and Google’s respective privacy policies.
We may also disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
We do not sell personal data. We also do not use PostHog analytics data to track you across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising.
4Your Choices & Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, and to object to certain processing.
Where privacy law requires a legal basis, we process information to perform our contract with you (running the App and purchases), based on your consent (such as personalized advertising where required), to comply with legal obligations, and for our legitimate interests in security, fraud prevention, support, and improving the App.
- Ad consent (EEA, UK & similar regions). Where required, a consent prompt lets you choose whether ads are personalized. You can review or change this choice at any time from the in-app Settings → Privacy options screen.
- Ad personalization. You can also limit or reset ad tracking in your device settings (iOS: “Allow Apps to Request to Track” and the App Tracking Transparency prompt; Android: “Delete/Reset advertising ID” and “Opt out of Ads Personalization”).
- Remove ads. You can make a one-time purchase or, where offered, subscribe in the App to remove ads or unlock Pro features.
- Reset your data. You can reset all game progress from the in-app Settings screen, or by deleting the App, which removes locally stored data from your device.
- Analytics. Analytics events are pseudonymous and not tied to your identity. You can ask us to delete the data associated with your identifier by contacting us at the email below.
- Requests. To exercise any privacy right, contact us at the email below and we will respond as required by applicable law.
5No AI Profiling
Bounce Path uses a deterministic puzzle engine to run gameplay. We do not use artificial intelligence to profile users or make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
6Children’s Privacy
Bounce Path is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13, or under 16 where that higher age applies. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
7Data Retention & Security
Game data lives on your device for as long as the App is installed. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to help you and maintain our records. Purchase, advertising, and analytics providers retain data under their own policies and for as long as needed to provide their services, prevent fraud, comply with law, and maintain business records. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encrypted transmission where applicable, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
8Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above. Significant changes may also be noted in the App. Please review this page periodically.
